End of a duplex unit in a small duplex housing development located in Pitcher Oklahoma. The entire town became nearly a ghost town after the government declared it a hazardous place to live due to the local mining causing the ground water to became toxic..and then a tornado hit and nearly everyone who was still there left. It is now a superfund site with only a few residents remaining.
Night, near full moon, fair amount of low cloud cover, 180 second exposure, protomachines set to yellow, aquamarine & red.
Former store that sold just about anything and everything, although the sign doesnt say, you could even buy a boat here. It was not open long, and its been closed much longer than it was ever open I believe.
Night, near full moon, behind heavy cloud cover, 180 second exposure, protomachines set to red with some white to the front.

This species has a unique way of roosting during the day. The couple settles on the same branch and stands side by side, but perched in the opposite direction of the other. Here we see the male facing us and the back of the female. I have seen this at least twice. A very special behavior.

What appears to be a terminal or control tower and windsock at a airfield that was established after WWII. The airfield does not appear on 1945 maps but does appear in 1946 maps. Aerial photograph taken in the 50s shows this building a T-shaped hanger and 2 unpaved landing strips.
Night, near full moon, 120 second exposure, protomachines set to orange & a shot of white under some pretty heavy cloud cover.
