My sister recently vacationed in Pennsylvania and was creeped out by the invasive Spotted Lanternfly that is causing damage in southeast Pennsylvania. Not to miss out on something that creeps my sister out, I drew paper for two origami versions (one is folded using the Matthews' butterfly instructions and the other is a modified version of a traditional cicada.) I will be mailing these to her, too bad I won't be there when she opens the post.
