Saw this view in the fading afternoon light on the Winter Solstice on a walk from Broad Street to Bath Row, via Bishopsgate Street. The offices seen down William Street.

I was invited by Paradise Birmingham to the evening photographers event at The Octagon. We were taken up the hoist lift to the top.
And spent less than an hour and a half getting photos from the top as the sun set and the moon came up.

This brick building near a Premier Inn hotel, corner of Holliday Street has been empty for decades (I think).
Maguire & Co might be turning it into offices.
It is opposite the Arena Central development, near the Holliday Street Aqueduct and the steps / ramp path up to The Mailbox.
It was probably an old canal house at one point.
