N985ODS was a Volvo B10M-62 / Van Hool Alizee C53F purchased new by Irvine's of Salsburgh in March 1996, which later gained the plate YIL1206. It would later become G16ATB with A2B Coach Travel of Uddingston.
Seen leaving the yard for its school duty is Golden Eagle Coaches Plaxton Paragon bodied Dennis R Series YIL1206. New to Alfa of Euxton as PK02PUO and acquired from Moffat & Williamson.

Seen in Harthill for the Grand Orange Lodge of Scotland's annual Boyne Celebration Parade is Golden Eagle of Salsburgh's Van Hool Alizee bodied Volvo B10M YIL1206.

Golden Eagle operate a smart, tidy fleet of coaches and contract buses from their base in Salsburgh. Some of their school contracts are in areas far from their base and to help ease costs, vehicles are parked at locations in between school journeys. These were parked only approx. 6 miles from base though at Newmains.
From left to right are Volvo B10M/Van Hool Alizee YIL 1208 (N985 ODS) new to the fleet, Dennis Javelin/Wadham Stringer YIL 6691 (75KK24) originally in the MOD fleet and Volvo B10M/Van Hool Alizee YIL 1208 (G879 ARO) new to North Mymms, Potters Bar. All three return to base at night.
