Another brand new Enviro - this time 1805 turning out of West Park Road on to the ring road. During my visit, Commercial Road was closed, so all services - including the ones from Winchester and Eastleigh - were diverted along the ring road.

On 23 March 2002, 1805 passes Pulborough, heading north. I could not identify this working and the set was, very unusually, showing black blanks in the headcode panel. The standard practice if no headcode was available was to show two white blanks.

Riding along on the mixed train to the land up north, behind peoples cars and a boxcar full of supplies for Moosonee. A pair of GP38-2's leads train 421 north in the biter cold.
While we were making the trip north, I was able to take this photo out the window of our car on one of the many curves.
