OHCR 4027 Machan's Rock Beach City OH CNL1 4/19/20

Running light power to Brewster to grab a loaded stone train, OHCR 4027 heads north past Machan's Rock outside of Beach City, Ohio, on April 19, 2020. Just like most other G&W lines in 2025, the only locomotive from this consist that's still active today is the orange geep.

A soft spot of sun lightens up Machan's Rock between Beach City and Dundee, Ohio, just as a southbound Ohio Central stonetrain slips by on April 19, 2020. This is on the original W&LE between Cleveland and Zanesville, which today is lucky to see two trains a week with the occasional extra stone train thrown in.

A four pack of OHCR engines bring a 61-car train south through a picturesque scene near Sugarcreek, Ohio, on April 19, 2020. This portion of the original Wheeling between Sugarcreek and Baltic passes through the rolling hills of Amish county, allowing several hillside overlook shots like this.

OHCR 4024 Justus 4/19/20

A four pack of four different Ohio Central locomotive models is on the point of a 61-car loaded stonetrain, crossing the RJ Corman diamond at Justus, just south of Brewster, on April 19, 2020. They had just departed the Wheeling's Brewster yard and were on the way down to the National Lime & Stone facility at Coshocton. These trains run very sporadically and have only been in daylight in Brewster on rare occasions.

The tilt board signal at the diamond is a B&O installation. The crossing requires all trains to stop and hand throw the signal aspect to the horizontal stop indication for all traffic on the RJC line to stop.
