Seen here is Loram 37418 shoving Caroline south through Flitwick working 5Z01 1049 Derby R.T.C.(Network Rail) to Cricklewood Tamper Siding. 20/02/2024

DB Cargo Class 67 No. 67024 stands at Sole Street working the 5Z01 0920 Hither Green Down Reception to Hither Green Down Reception driver training run.

The train operated via Chislehurst, Swanley, Rochester, Faversham, Margate, Ramsgate, Canterbury West, Ashford International, Tonbridge, Orpington and Chislehurst.

The train consisted of Mk2 coaches Nos. M3325, M6051, M5961, M5952, M6024, M5929 and M9526.

Another trip for the observation saloon Caroline, 5Z01 Derby - Bournemouth. Middle of the day behaving more like dusk.

So the finale of a busy day of photography. By now the clouds had rolled in. BR large loco liveried 37418 'An Comunn Gaidhealach' complete with Highland Rail logo and sporting Loram Rail Operations headboard passes Cheston Bridge between Wrangaton and South Brent with the 5Z01 14.48 Bristol Temple Meads - Penzance move with inspection saloon Caroline 975025. It originated from Derby in the morning. The train will return tomorrow from Penzance to Cardiff with people on board. Sadly this spot is so encroached with vegetation to the left that it will no longer be possible to take photos here from next summer. As it is I came prepared with a ladder to gain height but still had to stretch out and lean across the bridge parapet to get this and then had to crop the photo to get rid of the excess foliage.

Loram operated 37418 "An Comunn Galdhealach" pushes 975025 "Caroline" passed the site of the old Chaloners whin junction with 5Z01 the 15.00 Derby RTC to York Skelton OTM sidings saloon move 02/04/2023.

5Z01 Derby RTC - Exeter Riverside, not much chance of observing from the observation coach, given the speed this was travelling at.

Complete with Loram Rail Operations headboard, 37418 'An Comunn Gaidhealach' and inspection saloon 975025 'Caroline' are pictured at Grovefield Way, Cheltenham in a fabulous bit of light, when working 5Z01 1124 from Derby RTC to Exeter Riverside. On the Wednesday there are planned visits to Fowey and Kingswear before returning on Thursday. Tuesday 6th September 2022.
