Va el piaroa pensando un mundo distinto...Va hablando de sus cosas en su lengua nativa ...Va la selva amazonica reflexionando en un tiempo diferente al de Cronos mientras navegamos por el Caño Manteco...F.O.G.

The piaroa goes thinking about a different world...He talks about his things in his native language...He goes through the Amazon jungle reflecting on a time different from that of Cronos while we navigate the Caño Manteco...F.O.G.

Y los Mawaríes* en el inicio raptaron a Wei** dentro de una olla y todo fué sombras, pero su hijo Chiké lo libró para regalarnos su luz cuando cruza el firmamento en su curiara*** ...F.O.G.

* Seres encantados malignos.
** Dios Sol.
*** Canoa.

And the Mawaríes* in the beginning kidnapped Wei** inside a pot and everything was shadows, but his son Chiké freed him to give us his light when he crosses the firmament in his curiara*** ...F.O.G.

12 días navegamos el río Carrao cuando el vikui* nos señala la estación seca bajo la luna negra. Como saben que cazarán al danto.???...Pregunté...El anciano dijo «El futuro es presente que va llegando y se ubica frente a ti, la gente que tiene kamainó** se anticipa y puede verlo»...F.O.G.

* Vikui : Calendario Pemón hecho de madera.
** Kamainó : equivalente a presagio.


12 days we navigate the Carrao river when the vikui* indicates the dry season under the black moon. Al inicio en el “Pia to Daktai” todo era armonía en el Cosmo, pero hoy el río y las rocas son morada de dioses malignos…Para calmar a Rato* un pemón susurra un murwa**. Con suerte cruzaremos el Cañón del Diablo…F.O.G.
At the beginning in the “Pia to Daktai” everything was harmony in the Cosmo, but today the river and the rocks are the abode of evil gods… To calm Rato* a Pemón whispers a murwa**. With luck we will cross the Devil's Canyon…F.O.G.
* Rato = Deidad maligna que domina las aguas-

. Las fauces de la curiara devoran el río Churún y salpican de naranja los verdes de la selva profunda rompiendo la imagen en espejo. En los abismos del río acecha el Potorí o espíritu de estas aguas, para evitar males guardo en mi mochila un poco de kumachi (yare con ají)…F.O.G.

..The jaws of the curiara devour the Churún river and splash orange on the greens of the deep forest, breaking the mirror image. In the abysses of the river the Potorí or spirit of these waters lurks, to avoid ills I keep some kumachi (yare with chili) in my backpack…F.O.G.

Por influjo de la princesa Tuenkarón deidad del rio color caramelo llego al Churún Vená (Cañón del Diablo), el Auyantepuy vigila desde lo alto…Dice el abuelo : “ Si subes la mirada hazlo con respeto pues allí moran los Mawariton(demonios)”. Silencio profundo en la selva.!!!. Los espíritus no quieren ser molestados…F.O.G.
