It was a warm, October evening and the bats were out and about.
I'm having a bit more luck taking bat pictures.
There are only two more photos after this until I get out in the dark again.
The gizmo identified it as a big brown bat.
And also a june bug.
I'm working on learning how to get better photographs of bats.
I'm hoping there's enough bat in this image to determine if it's a big brown bat or a silver-haired bat.
Acording to the Wildlife Acoustics gizmo, it's a Big Brown bat.
ƒ8, 1/125s, 1600 ISO, flash on, guessed at manual focus and pointed the camera in the general direction of the bat. The Wildlife Acoustics gizmo suggests Big Brown or Silver Haired bat.
