Located here, the camera does not block the defrost vents of light sensor. It also dosent block the driver's view. Unfortunately it leaves the camera pointing through a part of the windshield that the wiper doesn't cover.

I think the ranger was pointing out that the boat is too big for this boat launch. I don't think the water is even deep enough for this boat. There are several other launching spots nearby.
It expired in 2015, I guess it's time to throw it away.
