Fresh cherry leaves for Friday Flora, again photoGRIIIphed at the TV Asahi Cherry Blossom Alley. I didn't do much here processing-wise except to enhance the colours with the primary colour sliders in Lightroom (and the usual pre-processing in DXO PL6).

Last year's cherry blossom in a small street around the corner. The whole street is lined with cherry trees, most of them with pink blossoms, but there are one or two bicolored trees with pink and white blossoms that are especially pretty.
Since this is for Easter and Sliders Sunday, I've added a soft white vignette and a soft texture to the sky (one of the "Corrosion" filters of the "Dust and Scratches" filter palette) in Analog Efex and applied a few filters in Color Efex of which I remember: Reflector Efex Gold to brighten the foreground, and "Brilliance and Warmth".

Once in a year, I always visit the Pomeranzengarten (Leonberg, near Stuttgart, Germany) to enjoy the wonderful cherry blossoms. There were so many lunch breaks I spent with my iPod under the trees during my time at school...
La saison de floraison des fleurs de cerisiers, pruniers et bien d’autres arbres fruitiers donne l'occasion à bon nombre de touristes de visiter le Japon. Le printemps vient d'arriver et déjà, les fleurs tant attendues sont au rendez-vous, telles celles-ci rencontrées dans la vieille capitale Kyoto et qui présentent des couleurs blanches immaculées de toute beauté.
