The Madeira chaffinch (Fringilla coelebs maderensis) is a subspecies of the European chaffinch which is endemic to Madeira. In the picture you can see a female chaffinch I met on a rainy day in the Fanal forest.
Der Madeira-Buchfink (Fringilla coelebs maderensis) ist eine Unterart des Europäischen Buchfinks, die es nur auf Madeira gibt. Im Bild ist ein weiblicher Buchfink zu sehen, den ich an einem Regentag im Fanal getroffen habe.
