Yesterday I had quite a spending spree (for me!) - in addition to buying a new hi-vis jacket, I also got some hair clippers to make it easier to cut my hair. I wasn't sure if it would work ok, but I made sure I got one with the longest guard at 2.5cms, and that's fine. The guards are colour-coded, which makes it easier to tell them apart.
It was cooler this morning, with a few light showers - very pleasant. I'm mostly editing the magazine today, but will also get out for a walk or bike ride later on.

I was growing increasingly discontent with the haircuts I had been receiving. It had gotten to the point that I would come home after my hair appointments, pull out my shears, and touchup my hair to my liking. I finally made the decision to just cut my hair myself. Side note: The blurry line in the top blade had confounded me. It appeared in each of several alternate (yes–60+ focus stacked) shots. I surmise that it is from the oil lubrication on the blade.
