This stunning vintage 1960's Halina Viceroy camera has been beautifully upcycled into a striking and stylish floor lamp. Complete with a vintage telescopic tripod with extending legs, this lamp would look great as a statement piece in a livingroom, bedroom, office, bar, restaurant, or any other area.
The lamp has an overall height of approximately 162cm. The camera has been fitted with a chrome adjustable light fitting with an large mirrored globe bulb with a vintage Edison style spiral filament producing a lovely warm glow.
The lamp is also fitted with a vintage style brown braided flex cable with an inline switch, a chrome cord grip, and a 3amp British plug. All fittings are genuine British parts, all hand-wired to a high, professional standard.
The vintage telescopic tripod with its extending legs can be extended to multiple heights making it ideal as a floor lamp, or a table lamp.
This is an original vintage item and is decades old, so there may be some natural wear and tear which adds to the character of the lamp.
All electrical parts are new, and work has been carried out to a professional standard.
Height approximately 162cm.

A Kinoflex box camera. A rebadged Halina Prefect. Fixed focus, I & B shutter settings, and a selection of three f stops.
The camera body is a very close copy of a Ricohflex, the "cone" is even interchangeable between the two. The lens is interesting, it is a rectilinear "double meniscus". Two menisus lenses are arranged symmetrically around the aperture providing perfect correction for barrel and pincushion distortion. It seems to be slightly wide angle, probably a little shorter than 75mm. No coating, and a bit of focus fall off and vignetting at f8. A very sturdy toy alternative to a Diana or Holga.
