About 20 miles from Wallace, the Cafe was found adjacent to the Bridge as seen in the film. It is no longer in the same location but it still exists, having been relocated to the other side of the bridge. White the storefront was part of the actual existing shop, the kitchen and living areas were sets built locally around Wallace and neighboring towns, using large spaces like school gymnasiums.

The Blue Moon was filmed using an existing shop near the bridge that has since been relocated nearby to the other side of the Coeur D'Alene River.
