Everything about the art nouveau Church of Saint Leopold in Vienna, Austria, is designed to be both extremely beautiful and also practical for the requirements of a chapel in a large mental asylum. The angels, four of them in all, standing above the entrance porch, seem to be radiating a message of hope and reassurance, in contrast to the often bitter reality of the institution.
By the way, this is a very tight crop. It speaks for the lens that I was able to crop to this extent.
