An old street shot in my archives. I've always liked it, especially the warm hues of an October sun. He was meditating on the steps of the Vancouver Art Gallery.
I've been perusing and posting some of my older street candids. This gentlemen seemed quite content with his life at the moment...a newspaper a cigarette (and one in the hand). I got lucky with the DoF; I like the bokeh background.
I see this gentleman almost every time I'm out 'candid hunting'. He is quiet and unassuming as he checks the trash bins for anything salvageable, especially smokable cigarette butts.
There is a story in the lines and wrinkles of his face, I'm sure.
