Last Friday the Tap Room had a couple new beers being tapped so we headed over to check them out. Tony tried the Hopsecutioner & the Hi-5 IPA from Terrapin Beer Company & liked both of them. (They are IPAs soooo not my favourites, that's for sure! lol) My flight consisted of 2 beers I had never had before & 2 I knew I loved. From left to right in the picture: Cypress Kriek by Abita ( First time for this one & I would drink it again!); Nitro Rubaeus by Founders (One of my all time favourites!); Blueberry Tart by Southern Tier Brewing (First & last time for this one. Nope.); and Zombie Killer by B Nektar. (Another favourite!) The tall glass on the right is Grapefruit IPA (2018) from Perrin- one of the very few IPAs that I enjoy!

And yes, it's very good!

A Bloody Mary made with Absolut Bacon -YUM!

It may not be a traditional brunch food, but I absolutely LOVE poutine! (It even had a fried egg on top!)

While none of these is actually a true lager (They didn't have one on tap!), I am using the word 'lager' to represent all beer with this shot. (You knew I would have to find a way to get craft beer into my name, didn't you? lol)

My favourites tonight were Ten Fidy & Liliko'i Kepolo but I also liked the Raspberry Berliner. (VERY SOUR)

Went to the Tap Room with Tony last night & tired a variety of beers- some good, others not so great.

In no particular order-
Zombie Killer -Had this one before & it is a favourite of mine!
Star Chicken Shotgun- I am not much of an IPA drinker but this one wasn't too bad
Pellicle - It was a goof beer, but not great
Rainbow Weasel (nitro)- This is a cream ale with honey though I could not taste anything of the honey it in
Beach Wheat- Just a wheat
Fat Sour Apple - No apple here

Mango Magnifico by Founders Brewing. This stuff is good!

Dos Equis Amber Lager
This is not a beer that I would normally order, but since it was Cinco de Mayo I gave it a try. It's ok....

I know that a lot of my flight pictures look alike, but trust me, they do not taste alike!
