From the elevated location of Barandov you can see a picturesque view of Modřany and the right bank of the Vltava River. On the right bank you can watch the moving water of the river, which flows calmly towards the lock in Modřany. In the distance, you can see the outline of the lock, which serves to regulate the flow and allows boats to overcome the difference in river level.
