A book, a newspaper, a sandwich and a coffee. You wouldn't need to go anywhere else!

Following on from my upload yesterday...I've crossed Tombland and walked into Tombland Alley. Augustine Steward's house is on the left (built around 1540) and the spire of Norwich Cathedral is on the right. It's a lovely part of the city.

I do like this 14mm lens. It's really good for a wider shot in a tight space.
What a wonderful shop front.

The corner of Leadenhall St and St Mary Axe is a popular spot for photos. The sun was dancing in and out and the wind was up. It was mighty cold.
The oval shaped building is known as 'The Gherkin' built in 2001. To the right is St Andrew Undershaft church and that was built in 1532! Quite a feat to survive the great fire of London and the blitz during World War II.

Our last hotel on our tour of Andalusia, was out in the countryside and it was quite a peaceful treat! Taken with my Panasonic Lumix GX9 camera and a Panasonic G 14mm f/2.5 lens.

Our last stop was a little different to the other places we visited, in Andalucía. This time we drove straight from Cádiz to Ronda, had a great time exploring and then went to our hotel. It was situated about 12km outside Ronda and we put our feet up. We really enjoyed being out in the countryside and this place was popular with people who wanted to spend their days outdoors, in the surrounding hills.

I did struggle slightly to retrace our footsteps and remember where I was when I took this! When I found out, I then struggled with the spelling of his name, as it seemed the 's' and a 'c' were interchangeable. Anyways, he was a Venezuelan national who fought for the Spanish, then had a bit of a dodgy patch. He has this monument in Cádiz, so I guess it all worked out well, in the end.
We were off the tourist trail and very pleasant, it was too.
For now, that's a pause on Cádiz. Thanks for coming along!
