Peru: Rufous-capped Nunlet

Continuing with uncommon puffbirds - this is a nunlet from SE Peru. Sometimes considered to be the same species as the northern Grey-cheeked Nunlet. In general, any nunlet sighting is exciting in my view thus sharing this record shot. Tambopata, Peru. Aug 2015
