With so many road and tram works taking place in Central Edinburgh at present, it’s becoming difficult to find buses that are not diverted! This rear view of two of the Enviro 400MMC deliveries in 2021 was taken at the five way junction at the east end of Regent Road. 665 will turn left down Easter Road as it continues on route 25 to Restalrig, while 626 is heading straight ahead onto Montrose Terrace to continue to Wallyford in East Lothian on route 44. Both routes are currently diverted via Regent Road - in the case of the 25, eastbound only - in an effort to reduce delays caused by ongoing tram works at Picardy Place and the top of Leith Walk. The one time Regent Road School on the far right was built in 1874 and extended 20 years later. It is now Out of the Blue Abbeymount Studios.
