"Journey to the Sun: The Marmara Soar" is a serendipitous capture during a voyage back to Istanbul, where the sun's descent into the Marmara Sea painted the sky in a spectrum of fiery hues. Hello August :) The summer days are subtly growing shorter, as they grow hotter. I really hope that we are spared those smoky days that have become sadly linked to this month in my mind. This flower is new to my garden - it is a combination of Echinacea and Rudbeckia called Echibeckia. For me it epitomizes the month of August.
