This Oriolo “Rockabilly Redhead” electric guitar has a very special connection to the Smithereens’ history. On January 13, 2018, members of the Smithereens paid tribute to Pat DiNizio, the band’s vocalist who passed away a month prior, in an all-star charity concert. Titled “Time and Time Again: A Celebration of Pat DiNizio,” the concert and livestream raised funds for the Pat DiNizio Memorial Scholarship Fund at the Count Basie Center for the Arts in Red Bank, N.J.
