A powerful street tribute on a concrete canvas: bold yellow letters scream silently from a graffiti-covered wall — ‘Μιχάλη ζεις, για πάντα μαχητής’ — Michalis, you live on, forever a fighter. Captured in Athens, this shot freezes a moment of memory, resistance, and everyday life colliding on the sidewalk.

The Ormond Chapel, one of the oldest buildings in Napier, was constructed in about 1869 as a schoolroom for the Napier Grammar School. It was shifted to its present site in 1919 and dedicated as a memorial to Alexander Ormond, a member of a notable Hawke's Bay settler family who died serving in World War I.

This was captured on film at the blue hour! I had to give this a try :) It was a rather challenging, but nevertheless an interesting experience, trying to photograph on film what I routinely do using a digital camera (ie, blue hour cityscapes and landscapes). Lots and lots more to experiment/test where film photography is concerned :)
