There's No Parking On Sidewalks

Notice the reflective vest on the dash. That's a telltale sign how they "may" work for New York City Transit. But so what? The car is parked on a sidewalk and next to a subway entrance at that. These vehicles are never ticketed, nor towed. And that building beyond the fence is the 39th Avenue Subway Ventilation Complex. I feel that it's all a ruse and the largest running joke in the entire city. That's lost revenue & it's running rampant

CURB YOUR VEHICLE

There's NO Parking on Sidewalks
It's so out of control. And some are placing their neon construction vests on the dashboard as proof they can just randomly do as they please, and are seemingly getting away with it. These vehicles are never towed.
What if a disabled person needed to get past?
Or a citizen in a wheelchair for that matter?

I have photographed this artwork under various conditions: this time it was under cheerful, autumnal sun. The ginkgo tree on the right is ripe with autumn leaves.

Five Towers

A view from a vineyard shows the stone towers creating the unique skyline of San Gimignano, a walled medieval hill town in the province of Siena. At one point there were 72 tower houses that families built ever higher to compete with one another, but only 14 remain today.

Sandy Beach (just after sunrise) - Oahu, Hawaii

Sandy Beach, also referred to as "Sandy's" and known to Hawaiians as Wāwāmalu, is a beach on the southeastern shore of Oʻahu in Hawaii. It is known for its excellent bodyboarding and bodysurfing opportunities due to its peaky shore break, consistent barrels, and a surf zone that spans approximately 2,500 feet. According to the legendary waterman, Mike Stewart, Sandy Beach is the birthplace of progressive bodyboarding. Consequently, Sandy Beach has one of the highest incidences of water related spinal cord injuries in Hawaii, earning it the infamous nickname, "break-neck beach". The water is especially dangerous during high surf, when powerful waves break over shallow sand and slabs of underwater lava rock. In certain conditions, strong rip currents are also present. The beach park is located between Hanauma Bay Nature Preserve to the west and Makapuʻu Point to the east along Kalanianaʻole Highway.

Three bracketed photos were taken with a handheld Nikon D7200 and combined with Photomatix Pro to create this HDR image. Additional adjustments were made in Photoshop CS6.

"For I know the plans I have for you", declares the LORD, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future." ~Jeremiah 29:11
