This vehicle was new to London United in dual door format as SP32 (SP40032) / YN08 DHY.
Apologies for the... schmutz flare on my lens - what on earth is going on with it? It might be time for a new one. This is, though, a very lucky save, because after having rushed up the top of Harrogate bus station to get it the first time as it left, I wasn't expecting to see it again! I just can't seem to escape London OmniCities now! One of Connexions' most recent acquisitions was this London United OmniCity acquired from RATP London United's commercial unit in mid-2020... which surprisingly hasn't been repainted yet - or better yet, it still hasn't lost it's RATP fleet numbers. Even more interestingly, although not pictured here, the bodged removal of the centre doors has resulted in the wheelchair access button still remaining where the centre door was, which seems like a nightmare for accessibility. A really rather interesting bus, all things concerned.
The final Connexions bus of the day, Connexions Buses' 5515 LJ, a 2008 Scania OmniCity new to London United - funnily enough, a Transdev company at the time - as their SP32 and registered YN08 DHY, later becoming SP40032, is seen heading up West Park on a WharfeConnexion X52.
Connexions 5515LJ, a 2008 Scania N230UD OmniCity, was seen in Harrogate Town Centre, whilst operating a service X52 to Ilkley, via Otley. New to London United as their SP32, fleet numbers from its previous life are still visible on the front of the vehicle...! Not the best of looks, Connexions. I imagine this will be next, or at least one of the next, buses to go into the paint shop. This one went to Connexions straight from London, i imagine this will of been sold to Connexions through Ensign.

September 2017 saw London United take over route 400 (and interworked school route 663) from Abellio Surrey.
Today though, Volvo B7TL/East Lancs Myllennium Vkying VLE40516 (PG04 WHV) stood in for the regular Scania.
It wears base Kingston University grey colours.
Surely, just surely, the worst livery a bus has been painted in in all of time?!
