AMARC, October 1987. This Neptune was built in 1958 and served with the US Navy until 1975, when it was placed into storage at MASDC, as it was then known, at Davis-Monthan AFB.
It was sold into civilian hands in 1989 as N8064A, then to Hawkins and Powers as N139HP (Tanker 139) with a 2,400-gallon retardant tank. In 2006 it was sold to Neptune Aviation Services Inc., Missoula, MT as N443NA.
