Easy peasy install, and 0% issues putting mcfatty tires on now. They're the black pieces on the left rack. The tire is a ~4" wide 45NRTH Hüsker Dü with plenty of breathing room.
There is 3" between bars.
Tire is 3.5" wide (measured) and the rack's upright bars are 3" across (measured). Tire don't fit...at least without a lot of squeezing, which I didn't do.
