Bij het afscheid van de Hofpleinlijn (en Zoetermeerlijn) als NS-spoorlijn op 25-05-2006, was hier een grote variatie aan materieel te zien. Eén daarvan was het Olympische ICM-treinstel 4241 als extra trein Gvc - Rth, dat hier in station Berkel Rodenrijs arriveerde.

Na de stopper kwam de IC voorbij bestaande uit de 4241 richting Enschede.

Nel 2014 a Nervi è nata l'operazione Ec Square per la difesa della specie europea di scoiattolo rosso e la tutela della biodiversità dagli effetti dell'inserimento e la moltiplicazione di specie alloctone. Gli scoiattoli grigi sono stati prelevati dai parchi, fatti sterilizzare e liberati nuovamente a Villa Gambaro in Albaro, dove dovrebbero trovarsi tuttora.
Scoiattoli rossi si trovano ancora nel parco del Peralto, a Villa Serra e a Villa Duchessa di Galliera, ma avvicinarli non è per niente facile, vista la loro natura poco confidente verso l'uomo.....quelli che ai parchi di Nervi rispondevano ai richiami dei bambini, che li attiravano battendo fra di loro due nocciole, erano gli scoiattoli grigi, e non i nostri rossi autoctoni molto più timidi e diffidenti.

A RODENT TAKEN IN FLIGHT
Operation Ec Square was born in Nervi in 2014 for the defense of the European species of red squirrel and the protection of biodiversity from the effects of the insertion and multiplication of alien species. The gray squirrels were taken from the parks, sterilized and released again at Villa Gambaro in Albaro, where they should still be today.
Red squirrels can still be found in the Peralto park, at Villa Serra and Villa Duchessa di Galliera, but getting close to them is not easy at all, given their not very confident nature towards man ..... those who at the Nervi parks responded to the calls of the children, who attracted them by beating two hazelnuts together, were the gray squirrels, and not our autochthonous reds, much more timid and suspicious.
