Turning heads

Spotted in Dublin’s Docklands, the stunning super yacht Akula made quite the splash during its brief visit! This sleek, red beauty turned heads along the River Liffey with its bold design and sheer size—stretching over 60 meters long, it’s a floating masterpiece of luxury. Akula is owned by a mysterious Russian billionaire who prefers to keep a low profile, but this yacht has been spotted everywhere from the sun-soaked shores of Monaco to the icy fjords of Norway, living a life of adventure most of us can only dream of. With its state-of-the-art tech and plush interiors, it’s no wonder Akula—named after the Russian word for "shark"—is a predator of the high seas, always on the move to the next glamorous destination.

In this shot, two women strolling along the cobblestone path couldn’t help but stop and stare, completely captivated by the yacht’s striking presence. One of them, with her bright yellow backpack, seemed to be pointing out the yacht’s details, perhaps imagining what it’d be like to sip champagne on its deck. Her friend, bundled up in a black coat, looked equally mesmerized, maybe dreaming of a quick getaway to the Mediterranean. Who can blame them? Akula has that kind of effect—making everyone pause and wonder about the luxurious life aboard. Dublin might be grey and chilly, but for a few days, this fiery red yacht brought a burst of excitement to the city!
