When little Cecilia was painting some picture frames for the 1:12 scale Dolls' House - but Annabella & Petronella thought the frames should be for their portraits ...

Upcycing an old photo of Imogen, Léontine & friends in the sewing room. Imogen just realising that her bobbin is out of thread - but that's one of Mrs Murphy's Sewing Laws:

I have some over-door hooks and they are very handy - but they scratch and wear the paint off the doors - which I've been repainting - so I'm putting felt on them so that won't happen again.

Aurelia boldly wearing yellow (a colour that redheads used to be told they shouldn't wear) tells Maddie that the reason I've not had much time to play with my Blythe dolls lately is because I've been busy painting doors and window frames.

Maddie: "If Lady Giant just painted them all white like everyone else does these days - well it would be much quicker and then she would have time for us!"

Aurelia: "Yes - but all white isn't very interesting - the Giants say that this is 'Heritage' colours."

Yes - I have been repainting our doors, architraves and window frames - and yes, I've been painting them in all the colours - and 'picking out' the panels etc It takes ages but I like it. And our house was built in 1886 - the doors were originally painted in 2 colours - a butter / fawn and a mid brown ... I've just gone a bit further than the original !!

Sofonz is an artist - Imogen likes to design clothes ... they like to work together, practising their drawing skills

Audrey and Lillian decided that camping was not much fun ... especially when you forget to bring matches !

Alina suggested to Audrey that she might have to be a little more parsimonious when handing out chocolates to all her little 'testers'.

We opened Box 5 of the set today - a second counter, a blue gift box and more chocolates !!

When Annabella (finally, she is a slow reader) got to the final chapters of the biography about Marie Antoinette (Annabella's all time Fav Person in History and Role Model) ...
well, it was all too much and Petronella had to make a fresh pot of tea with extra sugar in it.

Audrey is going to need some help financing her business venture ... will she be able to persuade Lady Alina that opening a little specialist chocolate shop is a good idea ?

Alina is a Time Traveller - if she decides to help Audrey she will travel back in time to visit one of the penniless & unknown artists that she assists - (Monet or ElGreco perhaps). Alina will buy something from them (which will delight the artist) and then she will bring it forward in time - but perhaps not to year 2025 as there are so many 'Art Historians' & experts now.
