A delightful set of vintage speckled plates by Laurel Ceramics, which were manufactured beginning in 1948. The great designer Edith Heath worked here and designed the Holiday line before starting her own iconic Heath Ceramics Studio.

This large ceramic bowl on three feet is by Richard Saar (1924-2004) of Saar Ceramics, which operated primarily in El Segundo, California from 1949-1962. It is signed "Saar" and was found in Burnsville, Minnesota.

This vase with a lava style glaze is likely by Ruth Wathey (1922-1982), artist and actress based in Santa Barbara, California. It is hand-incised "Wathey Santa Barbara".

This pottery bowl is from the well-known Luna Garcia Pottery Studio, which was based in Venice, California from 1979-2015. It is hand-signed "Luna Garcia 1992".

This large wheel-thrown lamp base is by the Affiliated Craftsmen studio formed by Bob Kinzie and Phil Barkdull in Los Angeles in the early 1960's. They moved to Costa Mesa soon thereafter. This "vase" likely began life as a lamp based on the central hole in the bottom and images from catalogs depicting this form with a base. It was found in St. Charles, Minnesota.

This small ovoid ceramic dish is by Sascha Brastoff in the Abstract pattern. Marked on the bottom with the factory signature reading "Sascha Brastoff" and "C2", it is also signed "Sascha B" on the front.

This small bud vase is a reissue of a classic shape designed by Edith Heath, founder of Heath Ceramics in 1948. It has impressed marks reading "Health 130" and was found in Maple Grove, Minnesota.

This small handled vase is by Sam Calder, who operated a pottery studio in Southern California. It is hand-signed Calder on the foot, and was found in Arlington Heights, Illinois.

This small bowl is by Haggerty Ceramics of Santa Barbara, California. It features an outstanding glaze lava glaze of silvery-blue. It has the impressed Haggerty mark and the name Haggerty. Per the marks on the foot, it was fired on 31 July 2006.
