In spite of the change of the clocks and Lucas having a disturbed night with his chickenpox, Mike & I were up in good time to get to the car boot sale for 8.30am. There was a chilly wind to start with, but we were dressed for it, and the sunshine was glorious! We had a lovely time, selling, buying, and chatting. Everyone was so happy for the start of the Quenington car boot season. An added bonus was the Food for Thought van, which gives hot drinks etc to homeless people sleeping on the streets of Cirencester, so it was good to enjoy the hot drinks and support the charity too.
Back at home, I had a beautifully wrapped and chosen present for Mother's Day - however did Bethan know I like LEGO? 😂 I was also able to get a few little sets at the car boot sale, so got one for Lucas, which he enjoyed making up... once Bethan had found the instructions on the internet! We had a lovely afternoon with Lucas, while Bethan recovered from her poor night's sleep. Let's hope it's a bit better tonight!
