A quick one layer card for a recent graduate.
I am linking my card to the current Hero Arts One Layer Challenge on the Hero Arts blog. The challenge runs through August 10th.
I am also linking my card to the current one layer challenge at A Blog Named Hero. Thanks for looking.
Stamps: Hero Arts Past Times (AC007) and Hero Arts Essential Messages (CL371).
Inspired by Laura Bassen for OCC Insider - Day 1.
You can see the inside of the card here. Thanks for looking.
Supplies: Hero Arts It's Your Day (CL661), Hero Arts Essential Messages (CL371), and Hero Arts Year Round Sentiment (CL582).
OCC Summer Card Camp 2 - Homework (W3D2)
My card was inspired by Betsy Veldman - color blocking with die cutting. If I had a sewing machine available, I would have sewn around the edge for an extra detail. Thanks for looking.
Supplies: Basicgrey patterned papers (Carte Postale, Hipster, and Aspen Frost), Hero Arts Fancy Alphabet Dies (DI061), WPlus9 Fresh Cut Floral Stamps and Dies, Hero Arts Essential Messages (CL371), Hero Arts Tweed (S5654), and Hero Arts Inks (Cup O'Joe, Tide Pool, Neon Purple).
I made this card to send to a friend that I haven't talked with in awhile - I wanted to say hello and let her know that I've been thinking of her. Thanks for looking.
Supplies: Hero Arts My Favorite (AC030), Hero Arts So Much Fun (LP292), Hero Arts Essential Messages (CL371), Hero Arts Shadow Ink (Raspberry Jam, Soft Blossom), and BasicGrey Kneehighs patterned paper.
My husband needed a thank you card for a work colleague, so I kept this card masculine and simple. Thanks for looking.
Supplies: Hero Arts Thank You Definition (CG268), Hero Arts Tall Thank You (D5510), Hero Arts Essential Messages (CL371), Hero Arts Just Saying Hi (CL502), Hero Arts Large Tag Frame Cut (DI058), Ranger Distress Inks (Antique Linen, Wild Honey, Stormy Sky, Broken China), Darice Hemp Cord, Bazzill Kraft cardstock and Versafine Black Onyx ink.
Inspired by Kristina Werner and Jennifer McGuire (OCCH&H, Day 1).
- Created a masculine & feminine card from the same sketch
- Used the same leaf stamp on both cards but in different colors, masked and over stamped
Thanks for looking. onlinecardclasses.com/hishers/?page_id=5

a little scramble card for the family when they return late tonight from their "Ring It Up!" FIRST FTC Robotics championship in Vermont! They're competing right now...thank goodness for streaming internet coverage! I will blog the details/tribulations later!
they're streaming live now, and awards ceremony is imminent!

UPDATE: They won Inspire Award--the epitome of FIRST--and are going to the world championship!!!!
The pink stamps are my own, the sentiment is a combo of Clearly Wordsworth and Hero Arts - Essential Messages (Cl371). I used Washi tape at the bottom, which I cut in half and splattered some blue/grey distress ink on top
