Pigeon Island is a national park on the northwest coast of St. Lucia in the eastern Caribbean Sea. The island is now joined to the main island by a causeway. Since colonial times this has served as a stronghold for the Spanish, then the French, and finally, the British. There are many ruins of old buildings and fortifications from different eras including these old church ruins. Through the windows, you can the turquoise Caribbean Sea.
I've spent a lot of time in St. Lucia and continue to go back, so I'm always posting more pictures of this beautiful Caribbean island. Click this link to see my full album www.flickr.com/photos/tpridemore/albums/72157625551418563
