Seemingly abandoned in the Shropshire countryside is a sizeable collection of more than 70 lorries, all of which appear to have been sitting in the same position for many years. The nature of the way the collection is arranged, for example cabs stacked upon flatbeds, suggest that it's an exporter's yard and the vehicles within were once awaiting shipment abroad. However, the reason they 'survived' exportation and were instead left to rot is unclear. A minute further down the road is another section of land used for the storage of lorries awaiting export, which is clearly still active, and includes this pair of DAF CF rigids which were both last in use in 2023.

A minute further down the road is another section of land used for the storage of lorries awaiting export, which is clearly still active, unlike the area where this 2013 Renault Midlum is parked. The vehicle is the newest lorry in the yard as well as the only Renault.

This 2013 MAN TGS was seen through the gates of a MAN/ERF breaker's yard in Stoke, England. The dealer in question is Europex Commercials, and their property is almost overflowing with derelict ERF and MAN models. Presumably this TGS is a new addition to the yard as it's not yet tightly packed away around the back with the 50+ other trucks squeezed into the small property. The vehicle was new to CSH Transport of Blackburn with a curtainside body, and in the near 12 years since being registered it's been converted to a flatbed and covered 893,621 kilometres - as is revealed by the writing on the windscreen.

This 2014 DAF XF was seen in a yard in the Shropshire town of Shifnal, near Telford, England. This yard was an interesting one as it appeared to be an exporter's premises, with older and export-ready trucks lined up into trees at the rear of the property. However, it was not possible to photograph these, but fortunately the gates to the yard were open allowing the capture of this DAF. The vehicle was new to Salford Van Hire and later found itself with EFS Global, before March 2025 when its V5C logbook changed and a fresh MOT was received - suggesting it may have fallen into the hands of a new operator and is safe from export/retirement for a few years yet.

This 2012 MAN TGM 4X4 equipped with a Palfinger PK 27001-EH crane attachment was seen parked at a farm entrance near the Scottish seaside town of North Berwick. The vehicle was new to the multinational engineering/construction company Balfour Beatty and was used by them in the utilities sector - likely for the installation of telegraph poles, which is presumably still the vehicle's job, albeit now carried out by a different owner.

This 2009 DAF CF belonging to GRS Road Surfacing was seen parked in United Auctions' livestock centre in Oban, Scotland. Although primarily a livestock auction house, the centre is also a small industrial estate which is home to a few hauliers. However, GRS is not one of said companies who has lorries based here, so the circumstances behind this DAF's parking position are unclear. The vehicle was new to Roberts Bakery as a box van, and at some point during the 15 years since being registered, its chassis has been shortened and tar spreading equipment has been installed.
