Seemingly abandoned in the Shropshire countryside is a sizeable collection of more than 70 lorries, all of which appear to have been sitting in the same position for many years. The nature of the way the collection is arranged, for example cabs stacked upon flatbeds, suggest that it's an exporter's yard and the vehicles within were once awaiting shipment abroad. However, the reason they 'survived' exportation and were instead left to rot in this wooded area is unclear. A minute further down the road is another section of land used for the storage of lorries awaiting export, which is clearly still active, unlike the area where this 1999 ERF EC11 is parked. The vehicle has unfortunately suffered some damage to the windscreen from a fallen tree branch, but otherwise looks to be in decent condition.
*I have decided not to 'geotag' this photo or reveal the location where it was taken, as the large collection is not protected by CCTV and doesn't need thieves stealing parts or vandalising the lorries.
