Arriving at Rameswaram, the first place to go was my preferred spot : the fishermen harbour.
The sky was full of birds of differant feathers preying for the fresh catched fish.
Here you see two Vellai Kokku (white aigrette 80cm) on board of the boat with the name "In the face of God" while a Kaka (crow) was flying away.

Not only fishermen catch fish,
the Brahminy Kite is a master in diving and picking up small dead fishes from the sea.

A fisherman pointing out his boat arriving with his brother from nightfishing straight under the parandu (68cm wingspan) eagerly preying for the fresh fish.
At the horizont you see the Ramanathaswamy Temple.
