Pentax 6x7, Ilford FP4 Plus, D-76 1:1
Scan of finished print after the original image went through my usual Photoshop adjustments; exposure, contrast, dodging and burning, tonal tweaking etc. Pretty much the same as when I was working in a traditional darkroom.
Printed on Canson Platine, Fine Art inkjet paper. Epson P-800 printer with a custom ink mix using Quad Tone RIP.

Deardorff 4 x 5, Ilford FP4 Plus, D-76 1:1
This one is going back a ways. Before I got my current 5x7 Deardorff I had the 4x5 version. I had been working with the Pentax 6x7 and wanted to try large format. I found a very used 4x5 for a few hundred bucks at a pawn shop somewhere in Miami. I liked working with it enough to start looking for a 5x7 version. It took awhile but I eventually found one and later still an 8x10 Deardorff in mint condition which I've been told was one of the last to come out of the factory in Chicago. This picture along with Hillsborough River at Dusk was one of my first attempts with the camera. When I lived in South Florida the botanical gardens in Miami were a frequent destination and I thought would be a good place to figure out how to use the camera. Walking around the gardens, the base of this palm tree caught my attention with theses repeating shapes and textures. I set up the camera and tripod, exposed two sheets of film and ended up with this.
