An outer structure of wooden siding forms a recessed shelter for a wall of 1960s-1970s-looking stone veneer surrounding the back door.

I FEEL THAT THE colors of the outer structure — gray paint for the wooden siding and grayish blue for the phony shutters — were well-chosen, comfortably modest.
