These two pups are best friends. Dori is a 2-year-old black and white Great Dane, while Cooper is a 2-year-old dark brindle mix. These two can play for hours till it's nap time.

The Great Dane, despite its name, does not originate from Denmark. In short, the Great Dane got its name from a French naturalist’s association with Denmark, even though its true roots lie in German breeding efforts. A classic case of a name sticking despite its slightly misleading geography!
ODC - ANIMAL(S) 17th - 23rd March 3 - Gracie is the sweetest 3 yr old Great Dane! She was posing today! She belongs to a friend, who has an Antique shop, I love when Gracie is there and I can get some loving from her, for being so big she is so gentle!
"Mister Knightly", a Jack Russell terrier, stops the walk to have a canine conversation with Great Danes "Sir William", left, and "Maximus" (probably asking, "How's the weather up there?") while friends Kim Payette, left and Glynis McClelland accept the fact that some discussions require face-to-face interaction. Payette and McClelland were out walking downtown as a first introduction of their dogs to one another. The conversations and walk appeared to go well.
