This is another lamb of the 'Woodlandsheep': that's my translation of the Dutch name of the breed: "Houtlandschaap". When the lambs are born, their fleece may be brown, but later on their body turns white and only the head and legs will have brown spots. Ten years ago, the breed 'Houtlandschaap' was in danger of extinction, and I suppose it still is. It has been declared 'living heritage' of Flanders.
This one was born in one of the nature reserves round Bruges and it is now at Hoeve Hangerijn, together with other sheep and lambs of the breed, as you can see in the preceding photos.
