A favourite pair of earrings of mine. I have been meaning to get repaired for quite some time now! This will serve as a constant reminder for me, until I get this done.π
Finally dropped off at the jewellers on Aug 8/24! Can't wait to wear them once again.

These charms were part of a gift from my Nonni (grandparents), when I was a child. I lost the beautiful bracelet, some time ago, in my twenties. I was heart broken because of the sentimental value that could never be replaced. I am fortunate to have the charms from that bracelet and to share them in this week's Macro Mondays theme.
Where exactly does the phrase faith, hope and charity come from?
As attributed to the Apostle Paul, this quote from 1 Corinthians 13 shows the genesis of faith, hope and charity: βAnd now these three remain: faith, hope and love. But the greatest of these is love.β
The earrings and the ring are vintage gold jewelry from the early sixties. Stars have been symbolic of divine guidance and protection.

I decided to paint a frame (to looks like an old patina) and glue the hamsa inside it. I think it will be easier to hang in a wall and my friends will love it !
