SBB Cargo Class Ae 6/6 11479 heads through a dull, wet Oensingen with the waste container regional freight from Solothurn to Olten RB. Yours truely was well sheltered from the heavy rain!

Previously a good bet for an Class Ae 6/6 locomotive, I had to make do with this SBB Cargo Class Re 4/4" pairing, 11275 & 11273 on the Regional Freight 64733 from Solothurn to Olten RB.

SBB Cargo Re 4/4'' pairing 11286 & 11257 were returning from Olten RB with the Regional Freight 64776 comprising waste containers, the rear brace of wagons having been collected from Oensingen en route to Solothurn.

An on time arrival at Zurich from the UK, followed by a good set of train connections enabled me to be on location near Oberbuchsiten well in time to record Ae 6/6 No. 11473 with the waste containers forming the Solothurn-Olten RB regional freight service 64773.

SBB Cargo Am 843 055 had charge of the vans from Harkingen to Oensingen, freight 57174. N.B. These vans were in the consist of 50717 (from Lausanne Triage) seen earlier.

On the return trip from Olten RB to Solothurn Ae 6/6 No. 11479 stopped briefly at Oensingen and this enabled me [from under the shelter provided by the station canopy] to at least record Train 64776 before it departed to collect a further wagon of waste containers from the nearby sidings.
