Here is Saint Bride, in his very own church, nice and lofty with lovely coffered soffits and with the Wren spire that inspired (no pun there just serendipity) the first multi tiered wedding cake!
Shakespeare is buried under the steps here, Trinity Church, Stratford. The church is beautiful, lots of carved miserichords to keep Shamus amused. I liked seeing where Shakespeare now lies although his monument on the wall is a bit tacky to modern tastes.
