Wat Phra That Chang Kham Worawihan is a Buddhist temple that can be found in the city of Nan, the capital of the province of the same name in northern Thailand. This temple carries deep spiritual and historical significance to the region. The architecture of the temple reflects the distinctive Lanna style, typical of northern Thailand. The most striking element is the central stupa, decorated with gold leaf metal. This stupa contains a sacred relic believed to be a bone fragment of Buddha. The temple also houses a viharn, a prayer hall where worshipers gather for religious ceremonies. This space is decorated with beautiful Buddhist statues and murals depicting religious stories. The temple is not only a place of worship and spiritual devotion, but also an important cultural heritage. It attracts both tourists and pilgrims due to its historical significance. There is a separate hall for donations. The small temples, often known as chedi or stupas, can be individual places where worshipers can make offerings and donations to show their respect. Each chedi represents a temple in Nan province.

Wat Phra That Chang Kham Worawihan in Nan is more than just a temple; it houses a special donation hall with a unique character. Within this hall are numerous small stupas, each representing a separate temple in Nan province. These small stupas provide an opportunity for believers to make donations and pay respect to the Buddhist tradition.

2. Devotional Journal

Devotional Journal. Someone near and dear to me gave me this journal when I was going through my split. It is a sketch book so it has no lines, and it has a suede leather cover with a tie. It is a small book so I could and did take it everywhere with me. This was the book that I used to write out my thoughts and inspirations through my daily devotions. There was a time when I would sit on my back porch from 4:00 in the morning until about 9:00 or 10:00 am… drinking coffee, smoking and reading- studying- learning. This book has been all over the United States with me and still it is in one piece. It was really and truly a friend to me in a time where I was soaking up everything I could, because I was so raw and wounded. When I split from the church I was tied to for my whole life- I split from writing in this journal. Not because I turned my back on what I learned, but because I knew my path was different than most around me- and it was not going to be contained in a book….
