Another Scavenger Hunt completed! I was wondering how long I've been participating in this Scavenger Hunt so I went waaaay back to the beginning of the Mosaics and found the first mosaic I shared was ANSH73, 110 months ago. That is a little more than 9 years. It is amazing to think that Sally and Raewyn have been organizing and managing this group that long. And actually, it's longer than that, because I joined in Round 73. So here's a HUGE thank you to you both! Looking forward to the next years! ;-)

Crazy Tuesday: In the middle
Such a dreary, rainy day today. I wanted to use the rain to my advantage for this photo idea and have the heart in between the two raindrops (representing the tears shed for the people of Ukraine) but when I clipped it to the branch, the big drops fell. No problem, the heart is still in the middle of the frame so hopefully this image still works for the theme. My heart hurts for those involved with the conflicts going on in this world and I am struggling to understand how people can inflict pain on other human beings. It is truly heartbreaking. ๐

Major landmarks in Kansas City - including the Marriott Downtown hotel and the Power and Light Building - are illuminated in the blue and yellow colors of the flag of Ukraine.
This is to show support to the soverign and independent nation of Ukraine, as they are now fighting an invasion from Russia (which started on Thursday 24 February).
Prayers to the people of Ukraine during this difficult time.

The colors blue and yellow can be seen everywhere at the moment. No wonder, since they are part of the national flag of Ukraine.
The most popular interpretation of the two colors is that blue stands for the sky stretching over the golden (yellow) cornfields of Ukraine.
The Eyes Of The Witnesses - Prayers For Ukraine by Daniel Arrhakis (2022)
A people left to their fate with only the hope in the arms of a new generation that only wanted to live in freedom... the whole world could do much more... it is the world's conscience in the face of barbarism that is at stake!

Screenshots of the Ukraine national flag and BBC News website on a morning when Russia has started its significant and unprovoked invasion of its sovereign neighbor.
After months of buildup, Russia initiated the invasion late Wednesday evening my time (Kansas time / Central Standard Time).
Praying for the people of Ukraine in this difficult and dangerous time.

Ukraine - Times For Courage And Unity Against Tyranny by Daniel Arrhakis (2022)
The unthinkable happened this morning when Putin ordered the invasion of Ukraine.
My support to all Ukraine citizens and their families in entire World in these so sad and tragic times ...
After having implemented for years an autocratic policy of absolute control of parliamentary, police, judicial and military institutions, he is now trying to subjugate Ukraine, threatening Europe as well.
His policy of repression was imposed mercilessly on the Russian people, not allowing any opposition or free press, repressing, murdering, illegalizing peaceful institutions, persecuting citizens or imprisoning all those who opposed him... the end result is this!
I repeat here the words of President of the European Commission Von der Leyen :
"Once again, in the center of Europe, innocent women, men and children are dying or fear for their lives. We condemn this barbaric attack, and the cynical arguments used to justify it".
But one thing is for sure, the rest of the world has finally woken up and will not let the values of Democracy and freedom be called into question by a bloodthirsty and unscrupulous dictator like Putin and the corrupt oligarchs who support him!
And believe me that those who believe in Freedom, Peace and Democracy are in the majority and are not afraid ...
