On the road from Imber to Warminster
A recent trip on Salisbury Plain at the Imberbus event and we passed these look outs beside the military road to Imber.
I was speaking to a soldier's wife on the bus who informed me these structures are viewing points for military 'action', when the forces want to show off their might to invited guests.
The military road is open to the public a few days a year including some days in August plus Easter and Christmas.
