normally I'm not so keen on filters but in this case the filter was the only way I could get it to look like real life and have the reds come through.

276/366 - Evening

My Mum's birthday today. Unfortunately she was feeling pretty rubbish when she woke up (as was I), so she opted to stay in bed for the morning. I worked from hers again today. Had a message from one of our friends we were with at the weekend, saying that she'd just tested positive for Covid. That would explain why I'm feeling rubbish! I dug out a face mask from my bag, and wore that around her for the rest of the day.

Mum got up at lunchtime and felt a bit better in the afternoon. She enjoyed all her cards and presents. My sister came over late afternoon, and was joined later on by my nephew (who'd just finished work) and my niece - so lovely to see them all again. I'd ordered a birthday takeaway for Mum and me, which was huge, so we shared it with them too. Think my Mum ended up having a rather lovely day :)

Went to bed early again, and watched a couple of things on my laptop.
